Surface Preparation: Surfaces should be sound, Clean and free from contaminants loosely adhering particles such as cement, laitance, rust scales, curing compound, oil, grease etc. All surface imperfections and protrusions are to be removed and repaired. Structurally unsound and friable concrete must be removed and repaired with a suitable concrete repair mortar.
RHEOBOARD boards are compatible with modified bitumen torch-applied or self-adhering membranes. When used continuously over a waterproofing system, RHEOBOARD will absorb mechanical shock from impacting aggregate during back-filling, foot traffic and ordinary site abuse by other trades. 

Application: RHEOPRIME WB may be applied to damp surfaces such as green concrete provided there is no standing water. Old and dry surfaces must be dampened with clean cold water to facilitate application. Care must be taken to remove excess water before application. Stir the contents of the drum thoroughly prior to application to remove any sediment. The application can be done with a roller, brush or airless spray. Apply the coating at a coverage rate of 4-5 m2/L/coat. Depending on the dry film thickness required. If a primer coat is applied, allow it to dry completely before applying subsequent coats. When two or more coats are required, it is important that the preceding coat is fully dry before the successive coat is applied. The second coat should be applied at right angle to the preceding coat.
Subsequent coatings or sheet membranes must be applied after the primer has dried but within 24 hours of priming. If left exposed for longer periods or where the surface has been contaminated, a second coat needs to be applied after cleaning the first.
Do not apply RHEOPRIME WB to outside areas in wet weather or when rain is expected. Protect freshly applied product from rain until it’s fully cured.
