MEDIUM CURE PRIME COAT
MC-30
Cutback Bitumen MC-70 is a medium-curing asphalt that consists of penetration-grade bitumen dissolved in solvents, temporarily reducing viscosity for easier handling and application. It is commonly used in road maintenance as a prime coat on the base course before applying the bituminous surface layer, binding granular materials to the asphalt. Applied by spray distributors, it ensures strong adhesion and durability. Manufactured from vacuum residue, MC-70 exhibits thermoplastic properties, softening at high temperatures and hardening at lower ones.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Cutback- MC-70 is flammable, hence must be stored and protected from the source of ignition. It is advised to use proper PPEs while handling and application. Skin & Eyes: Avoid contact with skin & eyes, if occurs remove with cleaner and clean with soap & water. Inhalation: Don’t breathe fumes which may accumulate in the vapour head-space of containers, if occurs move immediately to fresh air and seek medical treatment.
